Years after the Clone Wars end, Darth Vader sends bounty hunter Boba Fett to Kashyyyk to track down the last of the Jedi. Fett, motivated by revenge for his father's death, proves effective - but he soon finds out a terrible truth about Vader while on the hunt that gives him a change of heart. Started nice but then the acting and script ruined it. From watching this we can deduce that the Jedi are complete morons/weaklings and look like a bunch of geeks.

A blinded Han Solo kills Boba Fett in ROTJ and gets easily captured by Dartth Vader in Empire strikes back. But in this movie Boba Fett almost kicks Darth Vader's arse. I've seen a lot of bad fan films based on / inspired by Star Wars. Most are awful; cheap-looking with horrible acting and effects. This one is no different, but it commits the added offense of completely ignoring characterization. The Jedi, Boba Fett, and Darth Vader all have their own personality (yes, the Jedi as a whole have a characterization because, except for a few, they have no personality outside of the singularity of being a Jedi). It's one thing to have your own vision, but it's quite another to decide you're going to completely re-write who the characters are because it gets you from your Point A to your Point B more easily.

The number one rule of adapting someone else's work is allow the characters to stay true to themselves. When people complain about actions being "out of character" that's what they're complaining about. For example, you don't have Indiana Jones suddenly decide he's religious or a wuss. Both would spit in the face of the character as they'd been written. That is the major offense of the fan film: the only-works-alone Fett leading a trooper unit to hunt Jedi, the highly emotional Vader telling Fett to stop being emotional, the stoic-in-the-face-of-death Jedi shown running scared from everything around them. These are all situations and scenes from this fan film written with a complete disregard for the characters and who they are. Whomever did this wanted to show Boba Fett fight Darth Vader; they got to do that which appears was the only thing that matter to them, characterization be damned.

If you've only seen PJ on Television, you haven't really seen it. In the late 60s, censorship was temporarily relaxed: Ratings were "G" for Nothing Offensive, and "M" in case there was anything objectionable. With the wisdom of their breed, Studio execs quickly realized they should try to get away with as much as possible, and films like GUNN, DEADLIER THAN THE MALE and NIGHT OF THE FOLLOWING DAY were filled with raunchy (for those days) sex and violence. However, with an eye to TV showing, the studio execs also had alternate scenes shot for these films and the resulting Tv showings were tepid at best. The movie version of PJ has a seamy, tasteless feel totally appropriate to a cheap Private Eye film. This was the first 'X' certificate film I was able to see, under the UK title 'New Face In Hell' (at 103 minutes as opposed to the original 109 minutes). I've never forgotten it and have been searching for a copy of it for years. Can anyone explain why it's disappeared and has never been available? It was an exciting, smart, brutal thriller with a great cast, very slickly put together by a respected director. Here are some of the things I remember: a slow tracking shot going up to a white-haired Raymond Burr sitting at a desk as he explains to George Peppard what he wants him to do for him; George Peppard saying there'll be a "New face in hell for breakfast" when threatening somebody; a man being killed, very messily, under an underground train - a guard shouts "Somebody get a first-aid kit", to which George Peppard replies, "You're gonna need a big one"; and a huge splatter of blood when somebody's shot dead in the final scene. Not to mention various vicious fist-fights ... and the gorgeous young Gayle Hunnicutt. This was 'sex and violence' at its best! Come on, Universal, find it in your archives and get it released!

Pitted against his most ruthless adversaries ever, Lucas fights to keep himself and his team alive in a race in South Africa's infernal Kalahari Desert. With powerful forces at work behind the scenes to ensure his defeat, will Lucas' determination to win at all costs mean the end of the road for him? This is one the worst movie I have ever seen. Using Hyenas as guards dog was a definite sign of someone being on a batch of bad chemicals. Khayelitsha is nowhere near the Kalahari desert, just about the only thing they got right was the angry mob (that does happen).

The script was bad, and the only good scene in the movie is the last scene, explosions totally unrealistic even for a bad movie such as this one. It seems that the director tried to make up for a bad script with no direction with lots of explosions and gruesome executions. The movie is totally a waste of time that you will never get back. I have seen many low budget movies produce much better viewing experience. One just put some cars on screen, paint them and try to make a movie with guns, playboy girls and awfully martial skills. Script ?...no need! Realism ? no need also, since the movie target public are retards. So, this time we take the big race on Africa, and we try to imitate the shooting from death race 2 on the desert. We bring also a fight of 10 girls (no need to see them fighting, we have no time/or skills for that, so we use only a shaking camera to simulate the combat) - but the rest of story fall on the death race 2 path. I suffer a lot watching this crap, and again I see how one think if we join money+bad-script+bad-acting ...maybe, maybe a glorious movie will be born. But the life its cruel, and Roel Rein辿 end-up with one of the most stupid movies I ever see... I give a HUGE minus 10 (-10 !) . Save your time and do NOT watch this movie. If you listen carefully, once York dons the Frankenstein mask, he says one line. But he says it in an American accent. Likely to keep his guise as Frankenstein. It's revealed at the end of this film that Lucas, Katrina and Goldberg make a deal with Weyland, fake their own deaths, escape the prison and are very handsomely rewarded by Weyland but not before burning Niles York and framing him as Frankenstein. While this film ties everything up nicely to lead into Death Race (2008) (2008), the end has Niles York as the new Frankenstein saying, "I am Frankenstein, I will have my revenge," which could be the setup for another prequel sequel. But most likely York is the Frankenstein who is killed on the track in the beginning of the first film. Aside from the unrated version, a censored R-rated cut (rated R for violence and language throughout and sexual content) has been released in the US, too. Contrary to Death Race 2, the R-rated doesn't only lack some trivial nudity footage but also (and mostly) footage with violent content. This doesn't seem to be most widespread version but video store customers better keep their eyes peeled. The unrated version is approximately 40 seconds longer than the R-rated.

Rancher helps a friend claim a spread he's inherited, only to get involved in his murder. The last and certainly one of the better singing cowboys, Rex Allen, stars here in this fast-moving Republic "B" western, accompanying his pal Slim Pickens, in their initial matchup, to be on hand at Slim's home in Colorado where he expects to benefit from the bequest of the estate of a deceased relative, Zeke Reynolds, consisting of substantial timber holdings. To Slim's surprise, there are other claimants who think they will be heirs to the estate: Jacqueline Reynolds (Mary Ellen Kay), a distant cousin, and a brother/sister duo, Dan and Carrie Hurley (Fred Graham/June Vincent), owners of the Hurley Lumber Mill, whose business practices include overharvesting of trees, bringing about flash flooding while destroying cattle grazing land in Pine Valley. The Hurleys are guilty of crimes more serious than unsavoury commercial methods, and Rex and his employees, including Slim and the vocalising "Republic Rhythm Riders", find themselves in a range war between timbermen and ranchers who are avidly seeking to catch the Hurleys in the midst of committing their misdeeds. Typical of Republic productions in this genre, COLORADO SUNDOWN provides a great deal of furious fight footage, a runaway stagecoach corralled by trick riding and several musical numbers which appear at incongruous moments, including the traditional folk song "Down by the Riverside" (during a flood!) with performances from Allen, Kay, Pickens and the "Rhythm Boys". Director William Witney downcranks his camera during fight scenes, as is his wont, for by marginally slowing filming speed, action appears to be extraordinarily violent, and with the physically capable Allen and veteran stunt coordinator Graham on hand, these passages leave an indelible impression during the course of this interesting low-budget work. One of director William Witney's later works, the film features much of the above average action scenes Witney is noted for. Rex Allen and Slim Pickens provide their usual journeymen performances. Stuntman/heavy Fred Graham is featured in this film - giving him probably more lines than in any other film he appeared in. Rear screen special effects are used throughout - and they reflect the low budget that was given to action, westerns during the early 50s. Additionally, the script is one of the weaker ones of the Rex Allen films. The story turns on the results of what would be a "very sophisticated medical autopsy" in this day and time "performed by a country doctor in his office" in a matter of hours.

Jin Kazama witnesses the death of his mother Jun by Tekken in the slums known as Anvil. After finding a Tekken ID he decides to seek out vengeance for his mother's death. For those of you that don't know the Tekken franchise. This movie was OK. As a martial art/fight movie connoisseur I have definitely seen better.

For those of you, like myself, who are very familiar with the games ins and outs, this movie was completely disappointing.

Why did the movie start without ALL the original game cast? Why was Jack nothing like his game character? Where was King in all of this? Why was Jin's story the only one vaguely covered? And most of all, where were the powers? Anybody who knows Tekken knows that every character had some sort of trademark move or moves, none of which were covered in the movie properly at all.

All in all id say, as a fight movie only, this was average. As a fan of the games/cartoons, I believe this movie failed as badly as Dragonball did. I walked out of the cinema after 30mins, cannot take it. There is nothing in this movie as story line Most of the time too dark Something like barbaric fight Should have been 30mins episode max, then may be it could have been tolerable. The Hero fighting over others probably (7 other contestants). First few rounds is not fight until death, but then later changed to fight to death. The show that in the future you eat protein capsules, that is the food. But the drinks stay same. Some body buys Oranges, Choclates, Coffee in black market like drugs Another sick character is the hero's mother, can not take it. Just raw fight and blood. None of the characters who are fighting and are in slum the way they show is like they have never taken a shower in their life.

Why would you pay to watch this movie? By 2039, much of the world has been destroyed by World Wars and civilization is on the brink. What's left are territories that are no longer run by governments, but by corporations, the mightiest of which is Tekken. In order to keep the masses subdued and entertained, Tekken sponsors an annual Iron Fist Tournament in which fighters from across the globe compete to the death for ultimate glory and a lifetime guarantee of wealth and fame. Jin Kazama is a street fighter who enters the tournament to avenge the death of his mother which he blames on Tekken's powerful chairman, Heihachi Mishama. The only way for him to get close enough to Mishama is if he wins the tournament, but he soon discovers that he needs more than just street fighting experiences to get him through the bloodbath. With the help of Lucas, an aging Iron Fist Champion and trainer, Jin makes his way through the levels of the tournament. In doing so, he also begins to uncover hidden bits of his own past, full of his own inner demons, as well as a revelation about the dark underbelly of Tekken that threatens the very existence of humanity. Tekken is based on an arcade game series of the same name by Namco Corp, a Japanese video game developer and publisher. The game series was adapted for the movie by screenwriters Michael Colleary, Alan B McElroy, and Mike Werb. No. Yes, he will carry the Devil Gene. However, it's rather realistic adaptation so there's no transformations. Some characters borrow very strongly from real life people, e.g., Marshall Law is based on Bruce Lee. Lei Wulong is based on Jackie Chan, Raven is based on Wesley Snipes, and Craig Marduk is based on Nathan Jones.
